“Faces warp. Spaces sit somewhere between real and imagined.”
Virginia-based, born 1993. Works full-time in biology research. Draws on the side, in colored pencil.
She started drawing in 2018, first taking portrait commissions before moving into more experimental work. All of it is done by hand, without AI or tracing.
Her drawings take suburban streets and familiar cultural symbols and turn them into something surreal. They look bright and normal at first, then a little wrong the longer you look. It's Nice That described the work as exploring the "existential dread of childhood."
