Alyson Petruncio

“Faces warp. Spaces sit somewhere between real and imagined.”

Virginia-based, b. 1993. Works full-time in biology research. Draws on the side, in colored pencil. She started drawing in 2018, first taking portrait commissions before moving into more experimental work. All of it is done by hand, without AI or tracing. It's Nice That described her drawings as exploring the "existential dread of childhood."
